COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments for FCPS Employees to Open Today

Beginning this Saturday, January 16th, All Fairfax County Public Schools employees will have access to the COVID-19 vaccine. All FCPS employees who wish to access the vaccine will be able to receive their first dose in the next three weeks.

FCPS employees can schedule appointments using INOVA Covid-19 Scheduling Link. Currently, the scheduling page is down due to high traffic volume. INOVA is working on the issue. According to an FCPS source, all of the appointments for Week 1 are already filled.

Fairfax City & Falls Church City Public School employees can make appointments as well.

Week 1 (January 16-22, 2021) – FULL

• Bus Drivers and Bus Assistants
• Custodial Staff
• Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) Staff
• School-Based Clerical Staff
• Groups 1 – 4 (click group for additional group description) and Pilot School Staff
  • Administrators
  • Teachers
  • Classroom Instructional Support Staff (e.g. IAs, PHTAs, PHAs)
  • Active Hourly Staff (e.g. monitors)
• Winter and Fall Sports’ Coaches (including DSAs and trainers)

Week 2 (January 23 – 29, 2021)

• Groups 5-6 Staff (click group for additional group description)
  • Administrators
  • Teachers
  • Classroom Instructional Support Staff (e.g. IAs, PHTAs, PHAs)
• Active Hourly Staff (e.g. monitors)

• Central Trades Staff
• Staff from Week 1 who were unable to schedule a vaccination or who need a makeup appointment

Week 3 (January 30 – February 5, 2021)

• Groups 7-8 Staff (click group for additional group description)
  • Administrators
  • Teachers
  • Classroom Instructional Support Staff (e.g. IAs, PHTAs, PHAs)
• Active Hourly Staff (e.g. monitors)

• Substitutes
• Central Office Staff (employees not included in weeks 1&2)
• School Board Members and staff
• Spring Sports’ Coaches (including DSAs and trainers)
• All school-based staff not connected to a specific student group
• Staff from Weeks 2 & 3 who were unable to schedule a vaccination or who need a makeup appointment

Week 4 (February 6 – 12, 2021)
